o        Damai Beach

As the name suggests, Damai (means Peace in Malay) will fascinate you not only with its white sandy beaches facing the South China Sea, but also its lush tropical rainforest walks and Mount Santubong dominating the skyline. Once accessible only by river, Damai is Sarawak’s premier beach resort area. It is now just a 40 minutes ride from the capital of Sarawak, Kuching.  Damai hosts three international-class resort hotels - the Holiday Inn Resort Damai Beach, Damai Lagoon Resort and Santubong Kuching Resort. Each resort boasts with its own secluded beach, landscaped, swimming pool and offers sports activities such jet skiing, water-skiing, windsurfing, mountain biking, tennis, squash and fitness centers.  You will certainly be kept amused with the sorts of variety of entertainment pleasure and the glorious variety of sumptuous food in Damai. 

 

o        Siar Beach

Located about 90 km from Kuching, Siar Beach is known with its secluded crystal clear bays and inlets and interesting rock formations, is another inviting spot.

o        Sematan Beach

Sematan is a small fishing town and the area around it offers a natural and unspoilt beach which seems to stretch on forever. If you want fine, white sand with water clean and as blue as the sky, this is the place to come.

 

o        Penyok Beach

Penyok Beach is a perfect destination for swimming, snorkelling and other water sports activities.

 

o        Bandong Beach

About 4km north of Santubong, another favourite haunt for weekend getaways, ideal for swimming, snorkelling and other water-sports activities.
